VTG Blue Mountain Pottery Niagara Falls Red Ware Wall Plate Embossed Maple Leaf. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This is a wonderful vintage red ware wall plate and in excellent condition.  There are no cracks, chip, or nicks. The maple leaf is raised and has a wonderful texture.  The lettering is also raised. Plate has a very nice weight to it and has Blue Mountain Pottery Canada on the bottom with the # 225.  According to the original price tag, this was a commission piece for Niagara Falls so this might have been a souvenir item.
The original tag and plate hanger come with it.  I took the hanger off to clean and inspect the plate and will leave it off so I don't scratch the glaze.  The base color of the plate is black so the green leaf really pops.
Measure 6" in diameter and the bottom rim is 2 1/2" in diameter.
Did I mention this is a wonderful collectors item? Super nice.
