Description

Perfect condition ribbed / melon drip glazed handled pitcher.
Marked with the number 908 on the bottom this lovely pitcher is a great example of the excellent shape and drip glaze of Canuck pottery in the Evangeline melon shape. The vessel measures 6" high at the longest point and 3/5" at it's widest width.
The mouth of the vessel is glazed in black elegantly flows upward and measures 3" on the diagonal.
The black glazed rectangular edged handle measures 1" in width and 3" in length.
The body of the pitcher has a melon/ribbed pattern glazed with a blue:green drip glaze over black.
The bottom of the pitcher is unglazed and measures 2" in diameter and the red clay has been imprinted with the #908.

We ship quickly:  We can ship one day or the same day depending on when we receive eBay’s notification to ship.  Saturday is an exception: orders received on Saturday will ship early Monday morning.
Buyer's have a choice of shipping services and costs depending on your location and the size of the item.
For large items we generally use UPS Ground or USPS Priority.
Smaller items under 16 ozs which are not fragile ship USPS First Class.
Small fragile items will generally ship USPS Priority or UPS Ground.
Books ship USPS Media Mail.  Int’l shipping is through eBay’s Global Shipping Program.
All our items are available for local pickup in Rye, NY 10580 which is totally free.
Packaging:
Safe packaging particularly for fragile items is a priority.  Consistent with the items we sell we use recycled and upcycled boxes and packing materials which can be: bubble wrap, newspapers, office paper, magazines and egg cartons. We use a mixture of shredded and whole packing materials depending on the type of item, size of box and weight of box.
We offer basic tissue paper gift wrap and a customized gift message for any shipment for free - including books.  Many of our items are unique and make wonderful gifts.  Message us thru eBay with your gift request & details or include this information on your payment when checking out.   We are extremely responsive to ebay’s messaging system and happy to customize your purchase.
Returns:
We adhere to eBay's 30 day return policy.   We will accept returns but do not pay for return shipping unless the item was not accurately described.  Returns for any other reason are accepted and refunds will be issued once the item has been returned in the same condition originally sent to the buyer.
