BLUE MOUNTAIN POTTERY drip glazed ceramic SMALL CREAM PITCHER ewer CANADA

Description

Offered for sale is a beautiful drip-glazed ceramic SMALL PITCHER or EWER. The glaze is a deep rich blue-green color, with streaks of black. It has a glossy finish, and the color is slightly variable. It was made in Canada, by Blue Mountain Pottery.  The bottom is glazed, and is marked in raised relief with large script letters BMP, for Blue Mountain Pottery.  CANADA appears in small block capitals below the script letter.
The pitcher
stands 4 inches (11.4cm) tall to the spout, and
measures 4 1/4 inches (12.1cm) in diameter at the widest part.  A U.S. quarter is shown in the second picture, to give an accurate impression of the size at a glance.
Pitcher has no chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs, and there is no discoloration or crazing visible.
