    Set of 11 Yerkes Observatory astronomy magic lantern slides in 2 separate Eastman Lantern Slide Plates boxes.
    11 interesting slides depicting the Binary star Mizar, spiral nebular of Andromeda, Milky Way, constellation Orion and Scorpio,  gaseous clouds, a dark object and more.  Stargazers, astronomers, scientists will enjoy this set.
    Each slide has the credit Yerkes Observatory, 100 Representative Slides.  Slides date from the early 20th century and the Nova aquilar outburst dates to 1918.

    1.  SS I9I - Spectroscopic Binary Mizar, showing lines when double and when single.  Period 20.5 days
    2.  SC 28I - Nova aquilar, before and after outburst, photographed in 1905 and 1918.
